Only Treasure

A father saw how his 8-year old child suffered from an incurable disease before it faced death. It caused him so much pain, many times more than that pain experienced by his child.
A week after the burial of his child, he decided to go to church. Not for praying so hard but to question God why He let this happen to him. God never answered his question by any means. So, he angrily said to God, “Why do you have to do this to me? Why do you have to take my only treasure? And why does the most painful thing has to happen to me?”
Still there was silence all around. He doesn’t know what to do and then suddenly there was a light, shining just in front of him, so bright but it’s a dazzling sight. He didn’t saw God but he saw his child waving at him with smile on his face. His child said, “He’s taking care of me, I’m okay, Dad.” Then, it disappeared with the feeling of anger in his heart because somehow he knew that God was always here, He never forgets to take good care to each one of us and God would never fail us, not now, never.
